We will explore the areas on and off the Downs Link - a route for walkers, horse riders, and cyclists that follows two disused railway lines.

Here's a map of our walk so you can follow the same route. The total distance we cover is approximately 31 miles, so you can divide it into different sections and explore them on separate days. Alternatively, you could take a bus or train for certain parts of the route to get a different perspective and give your feet a rest!
You can find more information about the Downs Link here. Use this handy leaflet to help with your planning - click here.

Let's Embroider
Inspired by our visit to Parham House and Gardens, we have created an embroidery template featuring sunflowers, the Sussex rampion and the six martlets that fly on the Sussex county flag.
Looking for help with embroidery stitches? Head over to the Stitch Library at Penguin & Fish for their step-by-step guides.
