Horsham is a great place to shop and explore both independent and high street brands. With much of the town pedestrianised you can amble through the streets and enjoy the outdoor café culture in the warmer weather.
Weekly markets take place in the Carfax and Bishopric giving visitors a rounded shopping experience.
The town has a wonderful history and a museum with a wealth of information that it sited in an historic building on The Causeway. Walk down to St Mary’s Church, past the many stunning period properties that line the street, before you reach the Riverside Walk.
Close by is Horsham Park, Warnham Nature Reserve, Leonardslee House and Gardens and Southwater Country Park.

This is the walk we went on. Arriving by train, we left the station and headed straight to Horsham Park to explore before going through the subway to the town centre. After exploring the Carfax we went down the Causeway to see more of the town's green spaces, before ending our walk by visiting the many shops.
